Legal Practitioner Bemoans Increase In Social Vices

*Urges Soludo To Revive Scholarship Scheme

A legal practitioner, Chief Vincent Anyanti, has lamented the high rate of social vices in the society which includes: ritual money making, drug abuse and trafficking as well as all manners of criminalities which he said were caused by idleness and joblessness among youths.

Chief Anyanti who stated this while fielding questions from newsmen in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State added that issues of social vices especially among the youths are alarming.
He pointed out that the adverse effect of drugs abuse and trafficking should be preached in the Churches and Mosques.
The legal luminary urged the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo to revive scholarship scheme in the state to enable brilliant but indigent young men and women to have access to education.
He also called for the provision of skills acquisition centers for some people who are skill inclined but uneducated in order to keep the youths busy.

He equally stated that the Governor should declare a state of emergency on security on Lilu, Isseke, Osumoghu and their neighboring communities as well as expedite efforts on the security architecture and infrastructures of the state.
He poured accolades on the former Governor, Chief Willie Obiano for his land mark achievements which included International Conference Centre, Cargo Airport and Stadium which he provided for Anambra State before his exit.
